Kerrick
The company was founded by the late Mr. J C Schofield, who perceived
the need in the market for steam cleaning products. In 1936 the first
Kerrick Steam Cleaner was imported from the USA, fully built-up. In
1972 it commenced development of its first, own designed, industrial
hot water pressure cleaner, and began producing at its factory in
Auckland. These units were produced for sale in New Zealand and Australia.
The company developed its sales network from that point.
